Now she steadily draws extra income from sales on eBay. E-commerce in general continues to grow, as well.

For Sibbersen, it all started when she moved to Georgetown Township from Memphis, Tenn. Her husband, Mark, wanted her to stay home for awhile to bond with his two children. And she got hooked. She decided to move beyond finding unnecessary things around the house to sell. She started shopping a circuit of thrift shops, clearance sales, yard sales and estate sales. By selling items for more than she paid, she made a couple hundred dollars a month in the past year, spending about 10 to 15 hours a week on the process.
